Today I’m working as part of a pro-bono relationship I have with Cambridge Cleantech to help shape the ClimateTech SuperCluster. The https://www.climatetechsupercluster.com/ is already up and running across 5 countries (UK, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium) and hosts a platform and networking events to facilitate investors meeting tech ventures. Sponsorship was also accessed to establish a Climatetech venture accelerator this year.

My role is to help articulate the economic and public policy role and rationale of the ClimateTech SuperCluster. So far, I’m building the case for a combined marketplace of 182 million consumers and 11 million firms across five nations (UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands); and Innovation Hub with a powerful concentration of entrepreneurship, R&D, and innovation, enabling shared vision and collaboration; and an investment magnet – facilitating equity investments and FDI.

This would help to take advantage of the $650 billion market opportunity that climate tech represents; and help put carbon reduction back on track.

PROCUREMENT UPDATE: The procurement manager has replied to my message, assuring me that the questions are the same between the PDF documentation and the procurement website, even though they are different. 𝘐’𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 – “𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴, 𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘵!?”

Sometimes the procurement team will tidy things up and add a week or two to the deadline. Hey the worst thing would be for them to get a load of contrasting and varied bids submitted that they can’t make a decision… 𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯.

Clairvoyance isn’t usually my thing, but perhaps I’m onto something here?! Today I am trying a different approach – asking them to choose either the pdf questions or the portal questions – which ones should I answer??
