Cities at the core

Cities are essential to delivering Europe’s strategic objectives, from sustainability and competitiveness to social inclusion and innovation. By bringing stakeholders together in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, and with the strong engagement of both host cities, the European Urban Initiative aims not only to celebrate ten years of progress, but also to reaffirm a shared commitment: keeping cities at the core of EU policy for the decade to come.
